Back Pull Out Pumps
Design Features :
“DEVPUMPS” BP-series Centrifugal Pumps are Horizontal Single Stage Volute Casing Pump, Dimension Corresponds to DIN-24255 with end suction, Top centerline discharge design. Back-pullout design, enables to remove the rotor assembly without disturbing the pipe lines. The support feet are integrally cast with volute casing.“DEVPUMPS” BP-series Centrifugal Pumps are Horizontal Single Stage Volute Casing Pump, Dimension Corresponds to DIN-24255 with end suction, Top centerline discharge design. Back-pullout design, enables to remove the rotor assembly without disturbing the pipe lines. The support feet are integrally cast with volute casing.
The BP range compromises of 31 pump types with 3 shaft sizes which cover the entire range with maximum interchangeability. For Pumps belonging to a particular shaft size, shaft, shaft sleeve, impeller nut and bearings are interchangeable. Impeller is hydraulically balanced back vanes, and in the case of larger impeller diameter by renewable wear ring and relief holes. The pump’s Impeller design is close type.

The direction of Rotation of all pumps are clockwise direction from drive end. And also available with gland packing and mechanical seal type design.

Application :
The BP-Series pumps are ideal for pumping clear or  slightly turbid water, Non-aggressive  liquids. The pumps are used for / in  Circulating Systems in Industries, Cooling Towers,  irrigation, Sprinkler System, Booster service, Hot water circulation, Fire Fighting, Air-conditioning, Pumping Brine, Alkaline Solutions, Light Petroleum products, Benzene, Solvents etc. having liquid temp. range Between –10* to 100 * C with favourable NPSH conditions.

Design Features :  

“DEVPUMPS” PCF-series Centrifugal Pumps are Horizontal,  Single Stage, Volute Casing Pumps, Dimension Corresponds to DIN-24256 / ISO-2858 with end suction, Top centerline discharge design. Back-pullout design,  enables to remove the rotor assembly without disturbing the pipe lines. If a spacer coupling is used ot is also unnecessary to disconnect the motor. The feet at bottom transfer residual pipe stress by the shortest possible route the base plate & foundation.

The PCF range compromises of 32 pump types with 3 shaft sizes which cover the entire range with maximum interchangeability. For Pumps belonging to a particular shaft size, shaft, shaft sleeve, impeller nut and bearings are interchangeable.  Closed / Semi-0pen redial impeller specially design for law NPSH requirements. The Impeller are hydraulically balanced by back vanes, or in the case of larger impeller diameter by renewable wear ring  at both ends and relief holes. Impeller is locked by Dom nut to reliable fixing.  The pump’s shaft is guided on oil lubricated angular contact and cylindrical roller or ball bearings.
The shaft is fully protected from the liquid to be pumped by means of fully enclosed by PTFE gasket between impeller nut & Shaft Protecting Sleeve.

The Pumps are supplied with either  gland packings or mechanical seal in stuffing box with connection for sealing and flushing arrangements. Single or Double Mechanical seals are fitted as per API plan and depends on liquid nature and pumping under vacuum. The jacketed stuffing box design are useful for cooling of  gland packings or Mech. Seal while it run under  high temp. The above pumps are also available with steam Jacketed Volute casing & stuffing box while pumping liquid is in crystalline in nature. 

The direction of Rotation of all pumps are clockwise direction from drive end. Above pumps are also available with close coupled design ( Mono-block type with motor ) on special request to eliminate space problems and alignment problems.

The “ DEVPUMPS ” SCP Series are centrifugal pumps of horizontal, end suction, single stage, centerline discharge design. This series included design features to facilitate installation, maintanance and also maximum dimensional interchangeability. This range covers 15 sizes with interchangeable mounting dimension, size, location of suction & discharge nozzles, Impeller, shaft, base plate and foundation bolts holes atc. They are basically designed as reliable equipment for handling corrosive liquids with / without solid particles.

SCP – series Chemical Process Pumps are Horizontal Back-Pull Out Design, Single Stage, Single Volute, Single Suction Semi-Open / Open  type Impeller design having dimension corresponds to ANSI-73.1 std.  with end suction and top center discharge design. Impellers is matched to casing for high efficiency and low NPSH. Fully open, has partial shrouds for maximum vane support without high thrust inherent in closed impellers. Stuffing box pressure reduced and entrance of solids prevented by back pump-out vanes. Large smoothly contoured flow passages combine best slurry and solids handling ability. All impellers are statically and dynamically balanced.

Enclosed back of casing and contains stuffing box chamber. Cover is fastened to frame or adapter so that a spare back pull-out assembly can be stocked completely assembled. Cover can be supplied with jacket for cooling stuffing box chamber in high temperature services. Jacket can also be used for heating viscous or high freezing point liquids.

Packed box has five rings of packing and a lantern ring. Quench gland with water taps and an auxiliary ring of packing is standard. Gland is split for easy removal. Tapped openings to lantern ring permit “in and out” sealing, external flushing or lubrication as required.

Stuffing box is completely machined for mechanical seal installation, either originally or as a field conversion. Inside, outside, unbalanced, balanced ,single, double or tandem seals, with any required gland, throat bushing, throttle bushing and flushing lines furnished to meet individual sealing problems. Gland completely confines stationary mating ring gasket.

Sturdy cast iron construction bearing frame provides rigid bearing alignment and shaft support. Contains large oil reservoir, with water jacket. Oil level maintained by constant level Oiler with visible oil supply. Oil seals on each end and oil breather fully protect oil from contamination while allowing for expansion or contraction of air caused by ambient temperature change.

The “ DEVPUMPS “ PCF-CY pumps are Centrifugal Pumps in Back Pull-out Construction , Horizontal, Center line Mounted, Single stage, End suction and Top Centerline Discharge Suitable for Thermic Fluid & Hot Oil also. Radial close type Impeller, Single Entry Single stage, matched to casing for high efficiency with dynamic balanced.  The Impellers are provided either with Back Vane to minimize Axial Thrust and Gland Leakage Casing cover can be supplied with jacket for cooling stuffing box chamber in high temperature service.  Shaft Sealing is provided by Molded Graphite Rings)  or by Mechanical Seals ( SINGLE SPRING / METALLIC BELLOW ). Jacketing for Cooling offered for S/Box, Casing Pedestal and Bearing- Housing,  Standard Bearing / Special Heavy Duty Bearing arrangements available
